I’m sure y’all have seen countless recipes/versions of Energy Balls or Bites. In fact it was all those pinterest pins that had me thinking up my own recipe. These Energy Balls are fabulous!! Just sweet enough to satisfy your sweet tooth, and filled with the protein of the peanut butter to give you a full feeling with the added bonus of energy! WIN- WIN right?!
ENERGY BALLS
2 1/2 Cups Quick Oats
1 Cup Creamy or Crunchy Peanut Butter
1/2 Cup Creamed Honey
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1/2 Cup Mini Dark or Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
Add all the ingredients together in a large mixing bowl.
Roll mixture into 1 inch round balls. Place onto a baking sheet and let chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Once the balls are “firm” you can place them into an air tight container. Store them in the fridge.
These are perfect for an after school snack, team treats, heck I take them to work!
Adults and Children alike will love these.
