We are now on the brink of the start to the busy holiday season. So why in the world would anyone want to take a huge amount of much needed time, just to be stuck in the kitchen making dinner? My hamburger steaks are so easy. I promise you will have dinner on the table in under 30 minutes.
Easy Hamburger Steak
1 lb. Lean Ground Beef
1/4 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1/4 teaspoon Onion Powder
1/8 teaspoon Pepper
1/8 teaspoon Salt
3 Eggs, beaten
1/4 Cup Panko Breadcrumbs
1/2 teaspoon Parsley
1 Tablespoon Dried Chopped Onions
3 Cups Brown Gravy
*Optional~ Grilled Onions, Mushrooms
In a bowl combine ground beef, garlic & onion powder, pepper & salt, eggs and breadcrumbs together. Divide mixture into 4 balls, then form them into patties. I like to them place them onto a pan sheet pan that is lined with wax paper, and place in the freezer for 15 minutes. In a shallow skillet cook the patties over medium heat for 6-8 minutes or until the meat in no longer pink.
And just like that….dinner is ready. *My family likes to serve these hamburger steaks over a bed of mashed potatoes. Topped with grilled onion, mushrooms and Homemade Brown Gravy. One bonus …these are very freezer friendly. So why not double the recipe, and freeze some steaks for later on in the month. ~You wont be sorry you did!
