I am beating the heat today, by making these super tasty Ortega Patty Melt sandwiches for dinner!
These sandwiches take little to no time at all to make, perfect for these HOT Summer days.
Ortega Patty Melt
1 lb. Deli Roast Beef, thin sliced
8 Slices of Sourdough Bread
1 (8 oz.) Can Whole Ortega Chilies, cut open
8 Slices Provolone Cheese
Mayonnaise
Butter
Heat a cast Iron Skillet til hot then reduce heat by half. Butter one side of each slice of bread. Place butter side down on skillet, add 1 slice of cheese, Ortega chili and 3-4 slices of roast beef. Top with another slice of bread with butter side up. Let bread brown and cheese melt before you turn sandwich over. It will only take 3-4 minutes top. That’s it! Serve it along side some chips or macaroni salad and dinner is served.
