These blondies are loaded with all my favorite goodies….when describing them to friends I was telling them ” they are a brown sugar blondie with toffee pieces, white chocolate chips and macadamia nuts”. In other words they are the bomb! Thus the name Blondie Bombs was created 😉 They are perfect for lunch boxes, bakes sales or as a sweet treat after dinner.
Blondie Bombs
1 Cup Butter, melted
2 Cups Brown Sugar
2 Egg’s
2 teaspoons Vanilla
2 Cups All Purpose Flour
1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1 Cup Macadamia Nuts, chopped
2 Cups White Chocolate Chips
1 Cup Toffee pieces
Preheat oven to 375
In a mixing bowl combine the butter, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla. Beat for 2 minutes. Next sift together the flour, baking powder and salt into the mixing bowl. Mix until well blended. Fold in the nuts, chocolate and toffee pieces. Spread batter into a 12″ x 9″ Jelly Roll pan that has been greased & lined with parchment paper. Bake for 30-40 minutes. Let cool completely before cutting into bars. **I like to reserve just a few nuts, toffee pieces and chocolate chips to sprinkle over the top with some caramel sauce just before serving. It is also sinfully delicious served with a scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream on top of the bar.
