Today I am sharing with Y’all a new twist on the classic grilled steak. The secret to these Steak kabobs is allowing the meat to marinate overnight. Believe me the tenderness and flavor of the meat is worth the wait!
Grilled Steak Strip Marinade
2 Cups Soy Sauce~ **I recommend Aloha Brand
2 Cups Brown Sugar
1 Cup Pineapple Juice
1 Tablespoon Garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Pepper
1/2 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
Combine all ingredients in a sauce pan. Stirring over medium heat until all the sugar has dissolved. Set aside and let cool to room temperature. While marinade is cooling, slice your desired cut of steak (We like a flat iron cut) into strips. Place meat into a plastic bag. Add marinade once it has cooled to the meat. Seal bag and place in the refrigerator overnight. The next day, thread steak strips onto a skewer. I also like to add fresh cut peppers, onions, and tomatoes.
Feel free to add whatever veggies you desire. Grill over a medium heat for 2-3 minutes on each side. I like to serve this over a bed of rice pilaf. It is that simple! Happy Grilling!~ Lark
