These chocolate pancakes are so deliciously divine you can indulge in them for breakfast as well as for a simple dessert. In fact if you would like to serve them as a dessert, you can easily turn these into a Black Forrest dessert by making my good friend Jyl’s Sour Cherry Syrup! It is amazing!
Chocolate Pancakes
1 1/4 Cup All Purpose Flour
1 1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
1/3 Cup Cocoa Powder
1/4 Cup Sugar
1/4 tsp. Salt
1 Egg
1 1/4 Cup Milk
2 TBSP. Butter~ melted
1 tsp. Vanilla
Sift together the first 6 ingredients into a mixing bowl. Whisk the remaining ingredients together and add to the dry. Do not over beat. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto a hot griddle. Let cook until you see small bubbles appear. Flip and continue cooking for another 30 or so seconds. Serve warm with Whipped Cream and Sour Cherry Syrup. ~ Enjoy, Lark
