Today’s recipe is sure to become one of you families favorite dishes…even for your pickiest eaters. You can serve it as side salad, or it is so filling you can count it as the main entrée.
Garlic Teriyaki Noodles
16oz. This Spaghetti Noodles ~cooked /drained
1 Green Onion ~ sliced thin
2 TBSP Olive Oil
2 TBSP Butter
4 TBSP Minced Garlic
1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
1/4 Cup Soy Sauce ~I use Aloha Brand
2 TBSP. Yoshida Sauce
Cook & drain noodles, rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process.
In a sauce pan combine the oil, butter, garlic and onion, sauté for 3 minutes. Pour mixture over cooked pasta, toss to coat noodles. Let set for 5 minutes. In another sauce pan stir together the remaining ingredients over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Bring to a boil for 1 minute. Set mixture aside to cool for 15 minutes. Combine noodles and pasta together. Chill for at least 2 hours before serving. If desire you can add in some additional green onions and fresh tomatoes. This dish is light and filling, perfect for the up coming hot Summer months. ~Lark
