There is no secret that I love Mexican food! One of my favorite toppings to add to any Mexican flavored dishes is fresh homemade Picco de Gallo! I love the fresh crunch and spicy heat. It only takes a few minutes to cut and toss the ingredients together, so there is no reason you shouldn’t take those few minutes to make your favorite meal even better.
Homemade Fresh Picco de Gallo
3-4 Tomatoes
1 White Onion
2 Jalapeno’s
1/2 Cup fresh Cilantro
1 TBSP Garlic~ minced
Juice of 1 Lime
1 tsp. Garlic Salt
1/2 tsp. Pepper
Chop all ingredients and toss together in a bowl. I like to make sure to let the flavor’s marinated for at least 30 minutes before serving. *Give it a taste and if you feel it needs more salt or more juice, just add away. Everyone’s taste buds are different, make it to please yours.
