I know what you’re thinking… not another smore recipe, right? I promise that you really NEED to give this recipe a try. It is NOT your typical chocolate chip cookies with some marshmallows added in. The dough is soft and has just the right amount of flavoring to make your mouth water for more.
Smokin’ Smore Cookies
1/2 Cup Butter~ softened
1/2 Cup Sugar
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Egg
1 TBSP. Vanilla
1/8 Cheyenne Pepper
1 tsp. Baking Powder
1/2 tsp. Salt
2 Cups All Purpose Flour
1 Cup Kraft Mallow Bit’s
2 Cups Mini Chocolate Chips
1/2 Cup Graham Cracker Crumbs
Preheat the oven to 350 degree’s.
In a mixing bowl cream together the butter, sugar, brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add in egg, vanilla, pepper, baking soda and salt. Mix again for 1 minute. Add in flour, mallow bit’s and chocolate chips. Mix until all blended together.
Scoop into 2 inch balls. Dip the bottom of each cookie into the graham cracker crumbs. Then place onto a lightly greased and parchment paper lined baking sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes. I prefer a softer cookies so I only cook them for 8 minutes. However if you like a crisper cookie, I would suggest you flatten the cookie ball before baking them and then cooking them for 10 minutes. You will find that these cookies are much more that the average everyday run of the mill Smore cookie! Go ahead and eat another, I wont judge you 😉 ~ Lark
