This dip is filled with all the flavors
of a Double Bacon Cheeseburger.
In fact you could even serve it on a bun!
I served this with some toasted bread.
However next time I think I might top
it off with some fresh tomato’s and serve
it on a nice crisp Romain leaf.
Double Bacon Cheeseburger Dip
1/2 lb. of Extra lean ground beef
8 Bacon Strips~ cut into 1″ pieces
1/4 C. White Onion~diced
1 TBSP. Garlic ~ minced
4 oz. Cream Cheese with Chives~ softened
1/2 C. Sour Cream
1/4 C. Mayonnaise
1 TBSP. Worcestershire Sauce
2 TBSP. Ketchup
2 TBSP. Franks Hot Sauce
1 C. Mozzarella~ shredded
1/2 C. Sharp Cheddar~ shredded
In a large skillet cook the bacon pieces
until crisp. Drain all but 1 TBSP of the bacon grease.
Saute the onion and garlic until tender.
Add in the ground beef, cook until no longer pink.
Set to the side for a minute.
In a bowl combine the sour cream, mayo, cream cheese
Worcestershire, ketchup and Franks sauce
together until smooth. Add in cheese.
Lastly stir in the meat mixture and
crisp bacon pieces.
Place into a 2 qt. baking dish.
Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes.
Serve with chips, bread or on a bun!
