I know it was a fun filled day of memories
for my family. 🙂
The day after Christmas is kind of like
a “free day” as far as the menu goes.
We tend to each left overs and snack
through out the day. These little
smokies are perfect to set out.
We like them warm, however
I know a few friends that like them chilled.
Lark’s Little Smokies
2 pkg. Hillshire Farms Beef Lil’ Smokies
1 C. Chili Sauce
1 C. Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ Sauce
2 TBSP. Brown Sugar
2 tsp. Lemon Juice
1 C. Grape Jelly
In a sauce pan mix together the
chili sauce, BBQ sauce, brown sugar,
lemon juice and grape jelly.
Stir over medium heat for 3 minutes.
add in the little smokies.
Cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
That’s it! Quick, and simple.
Now you can either serve them warm
or chill them for 30 minutes before serving.
