Oh My Heck it is so HOT outside!
Summer is my least favorite
season of all. (don’t hate me)
I just don’t do the humidity
or weather that is above 80
degree’s…ha, ha I know, I know
why do I live in Nevada then?
Well I hate the Snow more.
Anyway..back to the recipe~
In this HOT heat I really do NOT
want to heat up the house
any more than it already is.
That is where the Slow cooker
comes is very handy!
Country Pork Roast in a Slow Cooked
4 lb. Boneless Pork Roast
1(14.5oz.) Chicken Broth
1 (2.75oz.) Pkg. Country Gravy Mix
1 Envelope Onion Soup Mix
1 tsp. Minced Garlic
Pepper
Cooked Brown Rice
Mix the soup mix, gravy mix and broth
together. Place in slow cooker, add in pork roast.
Place on High Heat for 4 hours.
Serve over cooked brown rice.

Lark

I have never liked pork roast – but this really looks tasty! I’ve always WANTED to like it and maybe now I will!
That looks so delicious. Perfect for this hot hot weather. Bring out the crockpot.
WOW that looks tasty! I don’t know why I never think to add that gravy packet to my roast…things are about to change. =) SO glad you shared another one of your fabulous concoctions.
I swear, I’ll eat anything with gravy on it! 🙂 This looks yummy, Lark! Thanks for the recipe!
This sounds wonderful! Patsy
This is the kind of meal that sticks to your ribs AND your soul. I’m with you on the slow cooker in the summer. Such a life saver.
Lori you sure can! In fact You can also use Pork Gravy .
I know I’m weird but I don’t really care for country gravy, do you think I could substitute a brown gravy for this? Thanks
