Team Tigg ‘Ol Bitties |
With last minute teammates not able to make it, our numbers were small.
However that did not stop us from having a good time for a great cause!

It was a Very warm day. 93 degree’s…We were all wishing we wore our shorts. We all had different reasons for doing the Race for the Cure……..For Mother’s, sister’s, Aunt’s, Friends. All with the SAME goal….to find the CURE for Cancer!
We were only 8 out of the 20 Thousand participants.
The smallest acts of Kindness, lead to the BIGGEST change.
As I walked beside these ladies, mile after mile, seeing the thousand’s of small steps each took in making a change in the world….tears came.
And so did the SMILES!
Oh look would that be a Chippendale?…who latched himself to me? |
Everyone knows someone who has battled Cancer.
Only YOU can be the “Change in the World, You want to see!”
I choose to do this for all those who cannot.
Today’s race was dedicated to my wonderful, brave, strong friends:
Trisha S. and Kathy H. YOU are MY Inspiration! Thank you!

Oh my…..I LOVE your purple TRISH on your arm! My husband teared up reading this, Lark. We are grateful for you. WE have never met, but I feel we have known each other for years. I hope you know what these means to us. This is so so so so cool.
