Have you ever had a Zot? I use to eat them as a kid when I was little, and I could never have enough. I was so happy when I saw these in a local store. I made my husband but 6 packs.
Of course I had to come up with a special recipe for them.
Well here is my creation.
You will need:
Vanilla Ice Cream
Sprite or 7-Up Soda Pop
Zot Candies: crushed
*if you can not find Zot candies another substitute
could be Pop Rocks.
Now all you do is layer in a cold glass.
Pour soda first, then a scoop of ice Cream.
Sprinkle crushed Zot’s over Ice Cream, repeat.
Enjoy this refreshing version of the Old Time Soda Shop Classic.

I would love to find these for my kids!! They would love this drink. I once got a dessert covered in poprocks at a fine dining establishment. Some things just bring out the kid in all of us. 🙂

You might be able to find them at a Mall in those candy stores.
If not..try some Pop Rocks! 🙂
