This cake has been a family favorite for many years.
It is so moist that you don’t even need to frost it.
It received it’s name because of the unusual way you mix it together.
Wacky or not, you will love this cake! Enjoy!
*this cake can be halved to make a 9x9x2 cake*
Sift together in a large mixing bowl:
3 C. Flour
2 C. Sugar
6 TBSP. Cocoa
2 tsp. Baking Soda
2 tsp. Salt
In the dry ingredients make 3 “holes”.
In the 1st hole pour: 12 TBSP. Oil
2nd hole: 2 TBSP. Vinegar
3rd hole: 2 tsp. Vanilla
then pour 2 C. Cold Water over all. Mix until smooth.
Pour batter into a greased 9×13 pan. Bake @ 350 for 35 minutes
or until a tooth pick comes clean from the center.
