Another great recipe with the use of Rhodes Rolls.
Warning…these little guys are addictive! If I remember right, the very first time I made these my husband and daughter devoured them all while watching a movie.
They may be little in size, but BIG on flavor!
Lark’s Mini Cinnabon Bites |
What you will need:
1 dozen Rhodes Rolls; thawed (or as many as you want to make)
1(8oz.) Cream Cheese; softened
1 C. Brown Sugar
1/2 C. Sugar
1 tsp. Cinnamon
Flour
In a mixing bowl beat the cream cheese, sugar’s and cinnamon until smooth.
Set aside for a minute.
Once the rolls are thawed lightly toss in flour, this will make them a lot
easier to roll out.
Roll out each one and spread to the edge of dough.
Roll up tight, cut each into 4 small pieces.
Place on a parchment lined sheet pan. Set in a warm place until they double in size.
Bake @ 350 for 18-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
Cool and glaze with a cream cheese frosting.
Sinfully Simple!,
Lark

Oh Lark, these look absolutely fabulous! What a great short cut… that’s the only hope I have of making cinnamon rolls these days… thanks!

I love them! And, not one ugly raisin in sight…The only problem I have with them my children and husband would each eat one and I would eat the rest. Hmmm…maybe not a problem after all.
Thanks for sharing on Sweet Indulgences Sunday.

Sounds great! Always looking for “short cuts” that still allow homemade flavor. Now, if only my store would consistantly offer Whole wheat rhodes rolls, this Momma would be one happy camper! 🙂 Thanks, Lark!
